By default the taskbar displays the application icon and caption which is active (in the form of a button). With the following tips you can remove the caption and just show iconnya only. That way you still have enough space if at the same time you run many applications.
- Run the registry editor, I click Start button - Run. Type regedit and press OK.
- Go to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop \ WindowMetrics
- Panel on the right search string value MinWidth ago to be change the value -255. If the string value is not there, you should make it by clicking right and select New - String Value.
- Close the registry.
